In February of 2003, TRX obtained the exclusive rights for manufacture and sales of the Hydrahaul™ line of static head pipe bursting machines under the Hydrahaul™ Patents and Trademark. These rights were acquired from Trenchless Replacement Systems Corp. subsequent to the cessation of its manufacturing and sales of the Hydrahaul™ equipment in December of 2002.
TRX is owned and operated by Richard Yost and Andy Allan, both of whom held senior positions with the previous Trenchless Replacement Systems Corp. As a wholly owned private Company, TRX has no other financial ties or influences by outside investors. In addition, TRX is no longer encumbered by exclusive territories previously held by Trenchless Replacement Systems Corp. Licensees.
Though TRX Industries Ltd. is developing improved tooling, hydraulic power units, mainframes, and bursting heads, it shall continue to supply parts and components for existing Hydrahaul™ replacement parts and components.
Hydrahaul™ machines pioneered the application of hydraulic powered, rigid rod, static bursting head replacement systems for pipe bursting. Along with the ability to install new HDPE pipe, this system also allows for the installation of engineer / owner specified non-proprietary sectional pipes such as Hobas, FRP, DIP, PVC, CIP clay, or ductile iron.
